Tuesday's storms dumped several inches of rain throughout the region and caused streams to over flow their banks.
The National Weather Service posted an advisory for heavy rain with rainfall amounts of up to one half inch an hour.
Some roads in the Weaver Pike area of Sullivan County were reported closed due to high water.
But better weather is on the way. The weather forecast for the next few days calls for mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 80s. There is only a 20 percent chance of rain each day through the weekend.
