Eating out is fun. You get excellent food, excellent service and most importantly, you don’t have to cook or clean-up afterwards.

But there is always one big problem you face when you eat out: Where should you go? This question becomes especially difficult when you’re on vacation. Every family is unique. Only you know exactly what your family wants and how they want it. To help you find the perfect place to satisfy all the members in your family, Urbanspoon recently released their top 100 most popular family-friendly restaurants.

Urbanspoon based their selections off of locations that had received the most positive reviews from critics, bloggers, users of Urbanspoon and, most importantly, diners.

Florida was the top state for kid-friendly restaurants, scoring a whopping 12 on the list. Three of Florida’s 12 — Yellow Dog Eats, Ethos Vegan Kitchen and 4 Rivers Smokehouse — can be found in the Orlando area, within a comfortable driving distance of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. This provides a nice alternative if you wish to not eat every meal at the resorts.

Texas had the second-most entries on the list with eight. At least one restaurant each is found in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and the Dallas-Fort Worth area, ensuring that if you are in Texas this summer, you will find a great place for your children and family.

Oklahoma is tied for third with seven restaurants on the list with four locations in Oklahoma City and three in Tulsa.

California is the other state with seven locations. Los Angeles, San Diego and the San Francisco Bay area are all represented on the list. Bruxie, located in Orange County, is just five miles from Disneyland.

For those heading to the beautiful city of Charleston, S.C., there are two restaurants that are in the top 100 for you to go to. A Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant also made the list and is found right on Hilton Head Island.

There also are two different options for those visiting our nation’s capital; Good Stuff Eatery and Pizzeria Paradiso both made the list.

No matter where you are going this summer, finding the perfect restaurant for everyone in your family will make your life easier and your trip more enjoyable. With locations in 71 cities across 28 states, you are sure to find a great spot to eat using Urbanspoon’s top-100 list.
