Our week-long Summer Apprentice Day Camp lets children aged 8-12 explore life in the 18th century. Dress in 18th century style clothing and experience the games, chores, arts and crafts of children living over 200 years ago. Space is limited; reservations are required.
The theme for 2013's camp is "Frontier Medicine" You'll cook a "rejuvanating meal", plant and tend vegetables and herbs believed in the 1700s to be medicinal, and have fun with activities exploring early medicine-- before the discovery of germ theory!
