AUBURN, Ala. — The East Tennessee State women’s golf team dug itself into a hole Friday.
The Lady Bucs, who were within striking distance of the top eight after the first round of the NCAA East Regional, fell to 14th in the second round.
That left them 13 strokes out of the decisive eighth spot. The top eight teams after Saturday’s final round qualify for the NCAA Championship.
A slew of bogeys left all five ETSU players above par.
