10th Annual Kid Power seeks exhibitors

May 3rd, 2013 9:06 am by Staff Report

GRAY — The 10th Annual Kid Power is seeking exhibitors to the region’s biggest free community event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11.

The event, for kids of all ages, draws several thousand each year.

Kid Power is an “annual affair of fun” that opens the door of opportunities to empower families to overcome challenges to success by providing critical information, support and assistance. At the event, kids are eligible for dozens of prizes, have access to exciting indoor and outdoor games and activities from inflatables, adventure challenges and hands-on activities at each booth.

Registration is $25 for indoor agency exhibitors in lieu of the door prize donated in past years. Public service groups like public parks, law enforcement, fire and rescue and large outdoor events are exempt from the registration fee.

This is the second time the event is being held at Daniel Boone High School.

“The move is thanks to Washington County School’s Coordinated School Health program,” said Anne Newton, Kid Power media coordinator. “Our second year at Daniel Boone should be more organized, and we’re expecting not only a larger crowd but some exciting new additions like Grand Slam Inflatables and a favorite in years past, Wings Air Rescue.”

For more information about the event, call Newton at (423) 467-3600.
