King University choirs to present spring concert

BRISTOL, Tenn. — The King University Jazz/Gospel Choir, The Queens of King, and All The King’s Men will present their spring concert at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 27 in King’s Memorial Chapel.

Under the direction of Shea Clay, assistant professor of music for King, the choirs will perform choral pieces in styles including jazz, gospel, folk, spirituals, Renaissance, Baroque, barbershop, and contemporary.  King’s Jazz/Gospel choir will perform two in conjunction selections with special guests, King’s Jazz Band.  

The choirs will also perform two contemporary compositions by 2010 King alumnus Will Brimer.
