Big Brothers Big Sisters will hold its annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event this week throughout the Tri-Cities.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee’s primary fund-raising and friend-raising effort, in which Northeast Tennesseans bowl to raise funds to help our most vulnerable children.
Companies can participate as sponsors and encourage their employees to join the fun and come out to bowl for a good cause. The goal for 2013 Bowl for Kids’ Sake in the Tri-Cities is $30,000.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 11, at Belmont Lanes, Bristol, Tenn.; and from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, April 12, at Holiday Lanes in Johnson City; and from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at Warpath Lanes in Kingsport.
Those interested in participating should form a team of two to four people and register at www.BowlforKidsToday.org. Choose the location, date and one-hour time slot for your team.
Each team member should collect at least $50 per person to participate. Shoes, lanes, door prizes, food, and fun are all included. Bowling skill optional
