CLEARWATER, Fla. — Owen Devine of Blountville finished fourth in the 14-year-old boys 100 backstroke on Friday to lead the Barracuda Swim Club on the third day of the National Age-Group Swimming Association championships.
Devine clocked a time of 54.45 in the event, and also placed 11th in the 100 butterfly (57.11) and 12th in the 100 freestyle (51.07).
Sophia Neglia and Kobe Evans also competed for the Barracudas. Neglia was sixth in the girls 13-year-old 100 butterfly (1:01.24) and 23rd in the 100 freestyle (57.76).
Evans placed 19th in the 12-year-olds boys 100 butterfly (1:04.98), 20th in the 100 individual medley (1:06.39) and 22nd in the 100 backstroke (1:04.91).
