Keep Kingsport Beautiful seeks volunteers to assess lawns

Keep Kingsport Beautiful is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for the KKB Beautification Awards program.

If you like to work in your yard or home garden, consider yourself an amateur or master gardener, or belong to a  garden club or  master gardener group, then this is for you!

Judges will select one winner per month from May through September from their assigned area, recognizing properties that set a positive example for beautification and a well-maintained property.

All necessary materials will be provided.

Time requirement is approximately one to one and a half hours per month.

Many master gardeners enjoying doing this as a way to earn continuing education hours.
