TRYOUTS/SIGNUPS
• KINGSPORT PARKS & REC is holding registration for youth baseball, softball and tee-ball. Registration deadlines are March 8 for boys ages 5-12 and girls 5-13, and March 29 for boys 13-15 and girls 14-17. Special last day of registration on March 29 at Dick’s Sporting Goods. • CHURCH HILL/MT. CARMEL/SURGOINSVILLE Parks & Recreation signups for T-Ball, baseball and softball will be held March 11-22, 3:30-6 p.m., Monday-Friday at the Church Hill recreation office. May also register at Surgoinsville City Hall during normal business hours or the city of Church Hill website. Age divisions will be: t-ball 5-6 co-ed; boys 7-8, 9-11; girls 7-9, 10-12. SIGNUPS
• KINGSPORT PARKS AND REC now registering teams for Adult Spring Softball. Divisions are Women’s Open, Co-Ed, Men’s Open, Industrial and Church. Entry fee is $350 per team, $12 non-resident fee per player. Teams can register at the Athletic Office at the Civic Auditorium, deadline is March 29. Play begins week of April 22. Swimming


• LIFEGUARD TRAINING CLASSES, offered by the American Red Cross of NET at Dobyns-Bennett. Students must be 15 years old by the date of the first class. There is a pre-test of swimming skills that must be passed in order to be eligible. Cost is $200. Sessions will be held March 28-31, April 11-14 and 25-28, May 16-19 and 23-26 and June 6-10.
