Meth dump site discovered in Hampton

ELIZABETHTON — A methamphetamine laboratory dump site was found Monday at the end of Hampton View Road in Hampton.

Lt. Mike Little, Lt. Patrick Johnson and Sgt. Harmon Duncan of the Carter County Sheriff's Department responded to the discovery. Duncan said the officers found discarded items contained in a black plastic garbage bag. Some of the contents had spilled from the bag.
