Flowerpot used to break into Sullivan County market

Police are investigating a burglary at a Sullivan County market, where the suspect used a cement flowerpot to break out a glass in a door to make entry.


The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office reports the incident occurred between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Sunday at the Short Stop Market on Highway 126. Several cartons of cigarettes were reportedly stolen.


Surveillance video captured a vehicle outside the market at the approximate time the burglary occurred.
