ELIZABETHTON — An 8-month investigation into the murders of Joyce Brock, 61, and Russell Glenn Shell, 54, resulted in the arrests of three men, including Shell’s on, on Sunday on murder charges.
Jonathan Scott Shell, 22, Roan Mountain, is the son on Glenn Shell. He is charged with two counts of first degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, two counts of tampering with evidence, and aggravated arson.
Jeffrey Lynn Whitehead, 51, Roan Mountain, is married to Glenn Shell’s ex-wife. He is charged with two counts of first degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, two counts of tampering with evidence and aggravated arson.
