Learn to eat sweet the smart way

February 14th, 2013 7:53 am by staff report

Most all of us have a sweet tooth of some sort. But did you know all sugars are not created equal.

The consumption of nutritious low glycemic foods is important for minimizing the insidious degenerative damage caused by long-term, elevated blood sugar levels, which are strenuous to the heart, kidneys, pancreas and circulatory system.

Eventually, the injury can become cumulative, shaving years off one’s life.

During “Who Says You Can’t Have Your Cake and Eat It Too!” a free meeting sponsored by the local Young Living distributor team, you can sample healthy sweet treats, using Young Living’s sweeteners and learn how you can have your cake and eat it, too, without compromising your health.

The event will begin at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Courtyard by Marriott, 4025 Hamilton Place, Johnson City. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.

This meeting is free, but love offerings are accepted to help offset the cost of renting the space.

After you have enjoyed greater physical, perhaps financial, and emotional wellness through Young Living, you will naturally want others to enjoy the same results. People join YL for many reasons. Those who thrive identify their reasons for being involved with Young Living and stay focused on their “why.” Your primary “why” may be better health, rewarding relationships, improving yourself, helping others or some other reason.
