Police seek info on Blountville burglary suspect

Police are continuing to investigate two burglaries at separate Blountville convenience stores, releasing a surveillance video image of an individual suspected in both incidents. 


The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office reports the first burglary occurred early Sunday morning at the Village Market, across from Northeast State Community College on Highway 75. Entry was made by shattering the front door, with a small amount of cash and cigarettes stolen.


The next morning a burglary occurred at Boone Store, approximately 3 miles down the highway, where the a front door was once again broken. Cigarettes and lottery tickets were reported stolen from that location.
