NAACP breakfast honors First Ladies of the church

The Johnson City/Washington County branch of the NAACP will hold a NAACP Appreciation Breakfast from 8:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at the New Zion Faith Center, 1904 Jamestown Road, Johnson City.

The theme is "Honoring the First Ladies of the Church."

The menu consists of sausage, country ham, salmon croquettes, grits, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, fried potatoes and onions, biscuits, fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, banana bread, coffee, and juice.

Tickets are $10 each and are available by calling Joyce Goines at 943-6059, Ralph Davis at 426-2851 or Wayne Robertson at 232-6219.
