Ski and snowboard enthusiasts can enjoy a day at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and help raise money for Bays Mountain Park at the same time.
On Thursday, Feb. 7, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort will donate 20 percent of all ticket sales to Bays Mountain Park, Rob Cole, operations manager at the park said Friday in a release.
Tickets may be purchased upon arrival at Wolf Ridge or may be bought in advance on the resort website.
Kingsport’s Bays Mountain Park is a 3,550-acre nature preserve and the largest city-owned park in Tennessee. In addition to 38 miles of trails for hiking, running, sightseeing, exploration and mountain biking, the park offers a variety of features, including a 44-acre lake, a Nature Center with a state-of-the-art Planetarium Theater, animal habitats featuring wolves, bobcats, raptors and reptiles, and an Adventure Ropes Course complete with a 300-foot zip line.
