It took an army of dedicated volunteers to transform Daniel and Mandy Watson's woebegone Knoxville farmhouse into a turnkey masterpiece last January, as part of ABC television's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
Jesse Katz was one of 4,500 people from East Tennessee who answered the call for volunteers on the massive Robinson Road project.
Katz, who owns TN Homecraft and Plumbing, said he has never seen so many people rally together for a good cause.
"The fact that they were able to take the Volunteer spirit and turn it into the end product was just fantastic," Katz said.
