Train excursion from Abingdon to Bristol

This November will be the second year that the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society has arranged for a passenger train to ride from Roanoke to Abingdon, Va.


There will once again be a chance to ride from Abingdon to Bristol as a continuation of the excursion passenger special, on Nov. 10th.


Due to servicing requirements in Bristol passengers must remain on the train at that point. Passengers must arrange for their own lunches as there will be no food service on the train.


Tickets are $35 for all passengers.
