UPDATE: The Kingsport Police Department announced Sunday that Cathy McMackin was located and arrested. She was booked into Kingsport City Jail and charged with attempted first degree murder.

KINGSPORT — Police are seeking a Limestone woman as a person of interest in the shooting of a man late Friday night.
Police said Dino Austin was shot in the leg at 3633 Montclair Road, Kingsport, about 11:38 p.m. and taken to Holston Valley Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Police said the person of interest in the aggravated assault case is Cathy McMackin, 57, a while female with an address of 101 Glendale Road, Limestone.
Police said McMackin was driving a white 1992 Saturn.
