Most federal, state offices closed Monday for Columbus Day

Most federal and state offices, and some county and area municipal offices, will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day.


Kingsport City Hall and most Kingsport offices will be open on a regular schedule.


The Sullivan County Courthouse and most county offices will be open Monday.


The Hawkins County Courthouse and most county offices will be closed Monday for the holiday.


Rogersville City Hall will be open Monday on a regular schedule.


Surgoinsville Town Hall will be closed for the holiday. Monday’s garbage collection routes will be picked up Tuesday; Tuesday’s routes will be collected Wednesday.


Mount Carmel and Church Hill town halls will be open on a regular schedule.


The Scott County Courthouse and most county offices will be closed Monday for the holiday.


Gate City Town Hall will be closed Monday. Garbage collection routes will be picked up one day late the remainder of the week.


The Wise County Courthouse and most county offices will be closed for the holiday.


Big Stone Gap City Hall will be closed. Garbage collection schedules will not be affected by the holiday.


Coeburn Town Hall will be open Monday.


Norton City Hall will be closed Monday. Residential and commercial garbage will be picked up Monday on a regular schedule. Recycling will be picked up Tuesday.


Wise Town Hall will be closed for the holiday. Monday’s and Tuesday’s garbage collection routes will be picked up Tuesday.


Appalachia Town Hall will be open on a regular schedule.


The Lee County Courthouse and most county offices will be closed.


Jonesville Town Hall will be closed. Garbage collection schedules will remain unchanged.


Pennington Gap Town Hall will be open Monday.


Most area banks will be closed Monday for the holiday.
