JOHNSON CITY — East Tennessee State University will offer a class on Operations Management for Lean Enterprise Systems with Six Sigma Concepts.
The class will meet each Monday from 6 to 8:55 p.m. beginning Aug. 27 in Wilson-Wallis Hall, Room 112C, at ETSU.
The class will review concepts and case study demonstrations, examining current best practices in area enterprises, with emphasis on problem identification, defects analysis, lean operations and Six Sigma Quality.
Students can be from business, industry, government, health care or financial enterprises, non-degree seeking or degree seeking, wishing to enroll in a relevant management or technology elective.
The course will be helpful in logistics planning and preparation for Green Belt/Black Belt status. Participants will be eligible for three credit hours.
