Kingsport Police Department
Police were called to Perkins on Fort Henry Drive due to a man, "running around in the restaurant cussing." The suspect admitted to drinking and was arrested for public intoxication.
A caller from Barnett Drive reported a man had, "stabbed himself in the stomach."
Hawkins County Sheriff's Office
A deputy was dispatched to Strahl Drive to investigate an unconscious person on the porch of a residence. The man, who had a cut above his eye and puddle of blood beneath him, was awakened by the officer. He told police to leave him alone because he was sleeping and, "insisted that he was inside." EMS responded and the man — who had a strong odor of alcohol — agreed to go to the hospital. Once inside the ambulance he became belligerent and exited. He then decided he indeed wanted to go to the hospital and got back inside the vehicle. Upon becoming belligerent a second time, which included throwing a set of keys, he was arrested.
A Lawson Road resident report his home was broken into, with approximately 700 DVDs stolen. A bag of trash was also poured on the kitchen floor.
A Stanley Valley Road man reported his wallet was stolen, tabbing the suspect as an individual, "just crashing at his residence, eating his food and not helping with any bills."
Sullivan County Sheriff's Office
Dispatch received 21 reports of fallen trees following an early Monday morning storm.
Dispatch were advised of a woman in a gray car, "prostituting herself out," within Kingsport city limits.
A caller advised a pickup truck had crashed into a ditch and was partially blocking Branch Road. They said it had been there, "about two weeks."
