GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Peyton Manning has been barking football signals in Greeneville, Tenn., but it wasn't on a playing field.
According to The Greeneville Sun (http://bit.ly/Ogpdlo), the quarterback taped a national television commercial for Buick on Sunday. He also was in the area to participate in the annual Niswonger Children's Hospital Golf Classic in nearby Jonesborough.
In the commercial, Manning comes upon a traffic jam, yells football signals into the GPS and the system responds by quickly telling him how to get around the delay. The commercial is likely to be aired by the end of July.
Manning played at the University of Tennessee before an NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. This coming season will be his first with the Denver Broncos.
