Holston Business Development Center encourages development and growth

The small business incubator, located at 2005 Venture Park, has 13,000 square feet dedicated to providing low-cost, low-maintenance office space for new and start-up businesses.

Starting a new business is always a challenge.


Thanks to the Holston Business Development Center in Kingsport, at least part of that challenge is minimized. The small business incubator, located at 2005 Venture Park, has 13,000 square feet dedicated to providing low-cost/low-maintenance office space for new and start-up businesses.


Diana Blankenship, the Executive Director, emphasizes that the purpose of Holston Business Development Center is to encourage new business development and growth.


She also stated, "Our mission is to help provide jobs to our region."


There are many advantages to locating at HBDC. The progressive rent scale starts at $225, and includes many services, such as: business counseling, Internet, utilities, classroom and conference room usage. The following businesses are currently located at the facility: Barnes Enterprises, Earl's Laptop Shop, Family Home Care Services, Hope Again Counseling & Court Mediation, International Glass Specialists, Maillefer North America, Mobile Images, MountaiNet Telephone, Murray Financial, Pridemore Financial and TalkBack.
