This August will mark the first anniversary of the addition of America's iconic Chevrolet brand to Bachman-Bernard's lineup.
The Bachman-Bernard Automotive Group in Greeneville has been serving East Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky for nearly 45 years.
As one of the state's oldest, the family-owned and -operated dealership has long been devoted to selling new and quality pre-owned cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers from trusted manufacturers, including Chevy, Buick, GMC and Cadillac at its newest facility at 3365 E. Andrew Johnson Highway, and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Nissan at the original location at 300 Bachman Drive in Greeneville.
"My partner, Phil Bachman started a Pontiac/Cadillac dealership in 1967. At that time, he was the youngest Cadillac dealer in the United States. Now he says he has the most experience of any Cadillac dealer his age," Myron Bernard said with a smile.
This August will mark the first anniversary of the addition of America’s iconic brand, Chevrolet, to Bachman-Bernard’s lineup, alongside other GM products in the state-of-the-art facility at 3365 E. Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville.
"The building was actually the sixth "Blue Arch’ done in the country for the new generation of General Motors. The customer lounge, the drive-in service write-up area, the entire building is the newest design," Bernard said proudly.
Their reputation for having an honest, no-pressure sales staff combined with the amenities of the facility makes buying a new or pre-owned vehicle at Bachman-Bernard a pleasure.
"When you sell cars in large cities such as Atlanta, you can sell one person, one car and simply by the number of people there, your sales will add up. But being in a smaller area, we have to treat people differently. We rely on referrals of family members and friends," Bernard said. "If you’re happy with your deal and you’re happy with your car, then we’ve made a good customer. If we sell a dud car, if we give them lousy service, they aren’t going be happy with us or with their car and they aren’t going to come back and buy another one."
Bachman-Bernard’s extensive inventory of new and pre-owned vehicles can be viewed at www.bachmanbernardchevy.com.
"Because of the scarcity of used cars, prices have gone up somewhat, which is good if you have a trade-in because you can get more for your car than you’ve been accustomed to getting," Bernard said.
Financing is also available through one of the 13 lenders that Bachman-Bernard uses. "I’ve been in the car business for 43 years and the interest rates are the lowest I have ever seen," Bernard added. "We can also get financing for people who may have less than stellar credit."
And, of course, Bachman-Bernard services what it sells. Convenient service and parts hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.
The ASE and GM certified technicians perform regularly scheduled maintenance and will expertly take care of any issue you might have.
"We have to be certified in a particular product, like the electric Chevy Volt or the eAssist Malibu, or they won’t even ship us one," Bernard said. "Our technicians are trained to work on all GM cars."
For 45 years, Bachman-Bernard has continuously run a body shop in Greeneville. Now located at the new store, their eco-friendly shop is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, should you need collision repair.
