If you are looking for quality art programs for children, aligned with current state standards in Visual Art, Theatre, Music and Dance, KingsportARTS is the place to contact.

KingsportARTS holds workshops for a variety of ages and skill levels. The ART We Talented program for 18 months to 5 years, focuses on pre-kindergarten skills, while using artistic expression and hands on activities. These workshops take place the second Thursday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. and the cost is $5 per child.

The Arts4Kids program, ages 6-12, introduces children to various forms of arts, such as music, performance, dance and visual. Tina Radtke, Arts Education Director said, "We cover all the genres related to art and it is cross curricular, so we have all elements of the art form and also include elements of History, Science, English and Math."

K.E.Y.P.A.D. (KingsportARTS Empowering Youth by Participation in Arts Discovery) is available for ages 13-18.

"This program helps students take their art interest to the next level, showing them classes to take in college, and what kind of work they can do as an artist after college. We want to give them real life set-ups to assist them in the future," stated Tina Radtke.
