For decades, the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons has entertained and delighted audiences everywhere.
This weekend, Greeneville’s Niswonger Performing Arts Center will pay tribute to the group as well as the Tony Award-winning musical “The Jersey Boys,” which tells the story of how four blue-collar boys from New Jersey became one of the biggest successes in pop music history.
Show time for “Let’s Hang On!” is 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25.50 for groups and $10 for students.
The men of “Let’s Hang On!” cover all of the great Four Seasons hits, complete with that unmistakable falsetto supported by superb harmonies.
Audiences will hear Four Seasons classics like “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “December 1963,” “My Eyes Adored You,” “Let’s Hang On,” “Working My Way Back To You,” and many more.
And the women of “Let’s Hang On!” get their own opportunity to shine by performing some of the greatest hits of all time — “Locomotion,” “Be My Baby,” “Lollipop,” “Downtown,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” “These Boots Were Made For Walkin’,” and “Since I Don’t Have You.”
Performers in “Let’s Hang On!” include East Tennessee native and University of Tennessee alumnus Josh Eleazer along with Rich Bresenhan, Chris Barletta, Dustin Fisher, Samantha Leigh, Bill Norman, Heather Krueger and Bob Schubert.
