Check cashing business employee charged with using customers' identities to steal cash

Jonesborough police Thursday arrested an employee of a check cashing service on charges that she used customers' identities to get loans for cash.

Eva Fellers, 39, 220 Liberty Hill Road, Chuckey, was charged with theft over $1,000 and five counts of identity theft.

In a news release, police said Fellers was an employee of a check cashing service in Jonesborough, and over a three-month period, she used the identities of five customers to obtain cash through fraudulent loans.
