Share winter fun pictures in Sunday Scrapbook

Volunteers from Oak Dale Baptist Church and Amis Chapel United Methodist Church joined forces to offer a Live Nativity earlier this month.

Sunday Stories invites you to share life’s memorable moments each week in Sunday Scrapbook. From holiday gatherings to scenic winter wonderlands, we invite you to share your photos and stories each week in Sunday Scrapbook.

Currently, we’re looking for photos of "Cool Things" to do during the winter months. So whether you're ice skating, skiing or sledding, playing board games, hanging out with family or friends, watching bowl games or going bowling, take your camera along and share your photos with us.

Of course, we’re also looking forward to seeing how you celebrated the New Year. So take lots of pictures and send them in.

Did you or your youth group have a total blast at Winter Extreme? Did you escape the cold and enjoy a holiday vacation? Are you headed to New Orleans to support the Hokies in the Sugar Bowl? Do you brave the cold for winter hiking and camping? Whatever you're doing this winter, take time to share those memories with friends and neighbors through Sunday Scrapbook. It only takes a few minutes to email a picture - and the memories last a lifetime.

Stories are also welcome, so share those too. Photos should be sent in jpg format, and should be approximately 5 x 7 in size, resolution 200 dots per inch, or a total file size not less than 1 megabyte. Be sure to send the photos as attachments to an email, and not as a link to any outside site. The word count for stories should not exceed 300 words. Email your contributions (along with your name and address) to: sundayscrapbook@timesnews.net. We can’t wait to hear from you!
