JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) — East Tennessee State University's George L. Carter Railroad Museum is celebrating its fourth anniversary every Saturday through Dec. 10.
Model railroad clinics and demonstrations from the past several years will be combined into one continuous event with the construction of an 18-inch by 72-inch module. Volunteers will be available to answer questions about how a model railroad layout is created.
Clinchfield Railroad memorabilia will be displayed. This Saturday, the Norfolk and Western Railroad will be showcased.
The Mountain Empire Model Railroaders club works with the museum on various projects.
