Former Johnson City couple working to cast local talent for reality TV show

November 15th, 2011 4:40 am by Staff Report is reporting that two East Tennessee natives, Chris and Christy Teague, are working on a Reality TV show that will include regional talent casting calls; the first being Nov. 19 at One12 Downtown in Johnson City from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m.

The couple is seeking local talent for their upcoming show about the life of two women appearing to be in their 30s or 40s who want to return to college.

Looking into their own community, Chris and Christy Teague are striving to keep their Reality TV show as local as possible.

“During initial production meetings in L.A., I insisted that we use local talent, so we reached out to One12 Downtown in Johnson City to kick-off our first casting call for the show,” Christy said. Christy is a true native of Johnson City and Chris is from Chattanooga, so they have a natural bias to the region.
