GRAY — For the first time in 30 years, Saturday’s 39th Trailblazer Cross Country Invitational literally was the Trailblazers’ Invitational.
The Daniel Boone boys placed three runners in the top 10 en route to winning the team championship with 58 points.
“There was a lot of pressure on us, given the success that we’ve had this year,” said ‘Blazers coach Lynn Jeffers. “Plus, it’s your home meet.”
Roderick Bowman headed up the pack for Boone, coming in third with a time of 16:38.60. Adam Barnard was seventh (17:10.66) and Chad Whitehead eighth (17:11.07). Jordan Roth scored at 15th (17:34.4), with James Garst at 25th (17:47).comments powered by Disqus
