Billy Wayne brings good news to home crowd

July 26th, 2011 3:59 am by Marci Gore

Billy Wayne Arrington and his band, Tattered Saints, spend much of their time on the road.

Arrington’s itinerary can include as many as 200 concerts and speaking engagements a year, leaving little time for his fans back home in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

But this weekend, Arrington and Tattered Saints will perform a free concert at Lamp-Light Theatre in Fall Branch. Show time is 7 p.m., Saturday. A love offering will be received.

“This is the only concert I do around here. We just don’t have the time. But Saturday’s concert will give the locals a chance to come and see what we do when we’re on the road,” Arrington said.
