Kyle Busch continues dominance at Bristol Motor Speedway, wins Scotts EZ Seed 300

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Neither a new Nationwide car nor an impromptu tire change 25 laps into Saturday’s Scotts EZ Seed 300 could keep Kyle Busch from dominating the field and winning his fourth consecutive NASCAR event at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Kasey Kahne finished second, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Elliott Sadler and Joey Logano rounded out the top five.

After starting fifth, Busch grabbed the lead from Earnhardt on Lap 31 and never looked back en route to his 45th career Nationwide Series victory. On lap 265, Busch led his 10,000th career lap, becoming the first driver in Series history to accomplish the feat.

“It’s big and anytime you’re able to set any type of series record with the likes of Sam Ard and all the guys that made this series what it is, it’s cool,” said Busch, who swept all three NASCAR events held at the track last August. “I enjoy it.”
