Kingsport motorist arrested; allegedly hit car, two trees, three ditches

A Kingsport woman has been charged with driving under the influence after allegedly striking a parked car, two trees and three ditches with her truck.

Judy L. Kilgore, 50, of 212 Lewis Lane, apartment 409, was arrested at 11:15 Monday morning. According to a Kingsport police arrest report, an officer was called to the apartment complex by one of Kilgore's neighbors.

The complainant reported that her vehicle had been struck by Kilgore's F-150, as Kilgore attempted to pull into a parking space. Police report locating Kilgore in her apartment, that she was intoxicated, and admitted hitting her neighbor's car.

"Ms. Kilgore further stated that she had also hit two trees and three ditches," reads the officer's narrative.

Police report observing damage to the passenger side of Kilgore's truck, and that she admitted to taking several medications earlier in the day. She was transported to Indian path Medical Center to submit to a chemical test, with those results pending.

Kilgore was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and no proof of insurance, then transported to the city jail.
