Greene County Sheriff investigators on Thursday recovered stolen trucks, trailers, construction machinery and tools valued at an estimated $150,000.

Sheriff Steve Burns said three people are being held for questioning and that charges are expected to be filed soon by Detective Sgt. James Randolph. The recovered items included a $95,000 truck and its load of treated lumber that had been stolen from East Tennessee Forest Products on Pottertown Road last weekend, Burns said.

The sheriff said the 2001 International flat-bed truck was found abandoned on Jearoldstown Road off Interstate 81's Exit 44 in northern Greene County and that the lumber, valued at $8,000, was found at a location on Jackson Lane West off the Horton Highway in northern Greene County.
