According to the Sidelines an afternoon of street preaching at Middle tennessee State University turned violent when one of the preachers fell from a concrete wall onto the sidewalk.
Three men began preaching to students and passers-by shortly before noon Tuesday, holding signs that read “Trust Jesus,” among other things. The men are associated with PinPoint Evangelism, based in Kentucky, and had permit to to preach at the Keathley University Center Knoll.
Students began protesting the speakers and shouting down the men. That led to an altercation between preacher John McGlone and student Michaela Morales, a junior social work major.
McGlone fell from the cement outcropping after a brief struggle with Morales, at which point several squad cars pulled up and officers dispersed the crowd.
“Take your hands off my breasts,” said Morales directly before McGlone fell.
