BLOUNTVILLE — A Blountville man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into the Sullivan County school system’s warehouse and stealing a used laptop, liquor and pornographic videos.
According to an offense report filed at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred early Wednesday morning at the warehouse, 580 Holston Drive, Blountville.
Surveillance equipment recorded the man, who wore a hood over his face, entering at about 12:40 a.m. According to the police report, he didn’t exit until about 2 a.m.
While inside, cabinets were rummaged through, and doors and at least one glass window were broken.
According to the police report, the man exited with “several items” in his hands and a laptop in a case over his shoulder.
An incident report filed later Wednesday states the items were recovered. They were found at the home of Larry J. Fleenor Jr., 780 Hamilton Road, Apt. P5. Fleenor was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering.
According to a Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office press release, Fleenor said he was looking for money but took several bottles of liquor, the laptop, two cameras and eight pornographic DVDs.
All of the stolen property has been recovered.
