Myrtle Beach man charged in six-vehicle crash that injured 18 people in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE - A 34-year-old South Carolina man faces numerous charges in connection with a six-vehicle wreck Monday that injured 18 people.

Three of those injured are still being treated today at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

Randy D. Zlobec of Myrtle Beach is in the Sevier County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond. He is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, vehicular assault, DUI, failure to stop and render aid, reckless driving, criminal impersonation and not wearing a seatbelt.

Sevierville residents Melika Lakhani, 39, and two juvenile passengers in her vehicle, Elina Lakhani and Afratz Lakhani, remain hospitalized.
