Greeneville police find large cache of suspected stolen items

The Greeneville Sun is reporting that  police have recovered a large amount of tools, lawn equipment, clothing and other items they suspect are stolen.


GPD Lt. Mike Crum said the items were recovered from an Anderson Street residence after Officer David White found a parked car matching one involved in the theft of a weed trimmer from a Marshall Lane residence.



Arrest warrants filed by Lt. Crum charged Timmy Waddell, 45, of 117 Springbrook Trailer Park, with aggravated criminal trespassing and theft under $500 in connection with the Wednesday afternoon theft of the weed trimmer.
