According to a report in the Knoxville News Sentinel a man and two women were treated this morning for injuries sustained in a fracas involving knives and a baseball bat.
The man sustained a stab wound to his stomach and he allegedly hit two women in the head with a baseball bat during an early-morning scuffle today that started at a bar and ended in front of his Elliott Circle residence, police said.
Matthew M. Lewandowski, 20, Carmalita G. Bruschi, 29, and 19-year-old Holley L. Armes were transported by ambulance to University of Tennessee Medical Center. Police said their injuries were not life-threatening.
The investigation is continuing, and charges are pending, Oak Ridge Deputy Chief Alan Massengill said.
