The Greeneville Sun is reporting that a Limestone man was killed Saturday when the pickup truck he was driving was hit head-on by a sport utility vehicle on Tennessee Highway 107 in Washington County's South Central community.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatcher identified the man who died as Curtis L. Williams, 69, of Frank Stanton Road, Limestone.
Williams, according to the THP dispatcher, was driving a 1993 Nissan pickup truck east on Highway 107 (the Erwin Highway) when a westbound 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Walter E. Dial, Jr., 59, of Elizabethton, crossed the center line of the road and struck the pickup head-on.
Williams was killed and both Dial and his passenger, Nita Dial, 59, were injured in the collision, according to the THP.
