Vols fans are invited to Neyland Stadium on Friday night as Tennessee holds the first practice in pads under new head coach Lane Kiffin.
Practice begins at 7 p.m. Due to construction, attendance is limited to the first 10,000 spectators.
Under former head coach Phil Fulmer, practices were typically closed to the public.
UTSports.com has posted a "Letter from Coach Kiffin to UT Fans."
"I want our fans to be an active part of the program," the message reads. "Your energy and enthusiasm are two of the things that make Tennessee great. That being said, I hope you will join us for our first practice in pads on Friday, March 13th in Neyland Stadium at 7 p.m."
According to the message, there are several events on campus Friday night, including the Vols' SEC baseball opener and an event at the arena. Therefore, all parking on campus will be paid.
The most convenient parking will be in the G-10 garage or 11th Street garage and come around the back of the hill to Neyland Stadium.
