The Greeneville Sun is reporting that Pal's Sudden Service hopes to build its 22nd fast-food restaurant this spring on land across from Zaxby's on U.S. Highway 11E in Greeneville.
Thom Crosby, president of the Kingsport-based regional chain, said pending approval by the Greeneville Planning Commission, the company would like to build a "standard Pal's drive-through" restaurant on land it already owns.
The company currently operates its only "sit-down" Pal's in the Greeneville Commons. "We've got a lot of interest in Greeneville. We like the Greeneville market," Crosby told the Sun. "We'd like to have two, or possibly three free-standing Pal's locations eventually in Greeneville."
