Engineer says tech staff's lack of help resulted in porn on city computer

According to the Tennessean, porn recovered from a city-owned computer have ensnared another top longtime Franklin leader, the second one in as many years.

David Parker, is serving a five-day unpaid suspension as part of the punishment city officials say he must face after the recovery of "several hundred" pornographic and obscene images from the hard drive of his city computer, records show. Franklin's chief engineer for the past 18 years

But Parker, 59, says he didn't download any of those pictures on purpose. He also says he asked the city's computer experts to help him block e-mail attachments but never got that help.

Parker plans to appeal the matter.
