According to a report in the Bristol Herald-Courier King College is the second Twin City school sanctioned by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools’ Commission on Colleges.
The commission recently declined to reaffirm King's accreditation and placed it on warning status for failure to comply with eight guidelines. King officials say the problems are the result of the school's exploding growth.
King has a year to address to resolve the issues. Virginia Intermont College has also been placed on probation.
