UPDATE: Kingsport police arrest 11 in drug bust; three suspects remain at large

Kingsport police now have 11 suspected drug dealers in custody and three suspects named in Wednesday's press release remained at large as of 3 p.m. Police booked Lisa McClellan, 46, 217 Barnett Drive, Lot 1-A, into the Kingsport city jail earlier today on sale and delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school. She told police she came to to turn herself in after reading in the paper that she was wanted.

KINGSPORT — Since Monday, the Kingsport Police Department’s Vice Squad has arrested 10 suspected drug dealers in the city, while four additional suspects remain at large, according to a KPD press release issued late Wednesday.


The arrests came after a Sullivan County grand jury handed down indictments against the group at the conclusion of an eight-month investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in the city, according to police.


The KPD Vice Squad along with the department’s Community Police Team began arresting the suspects on Monday. Of the 10 taken into custody so far, police say several have posted bond and are awaiting an initial appearance in court. Some have been unable to make bond and remain in the Sullivan County Detention Center, according to police.


As of late Wednesday, those still wanted by police for drug-related offenses are:


• Germaine Swann, 36, 217 Carver St, Kingsport.


• Raymond Pace, 37, 1527 Fuller St., No. 7, Kingsport.


• Chris DeZarn, 34, 1043 Rose Tree Lane, Kingsport.


• Lisa McClellan, 46, 217 Barnett Drive, Lot 1-A, Kingsport.


According to the release, those arrested and their charges are:


• Jennifer Hudson, 26, 1204 Riverside Ave., Kingsport, possession of marijuana for sale or delivery; maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used; casual exchange of drugs.


• Gary Vance Pauley Jr., 29, 1204 Riverside Ave., Kingsport, possession of marijuana for sale or delivery; maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used; casual exchange of drugs.


• Curt Coleman, 33, Route 3, Box 282-C, Gate City, sale and delivery of cocaine.


• Tanya Davis, 32, 1940 Flanders St, Kingsport, sale or delivery of oxycodone within 1,000 feet of a school (two counts); maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used.


• Paul Gadson, 32, 1809 Park St, Kingsport, sale or delivery of cocaine; sale or delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school.


• Teddy McClain, 54, 2208 Reservoir Road, Kingsport, sale or delivery of cocaine.


• Cynthia Anderson, 48, 822 Myrtle St, Kingsport, criminal attempt to sell alprozolam; maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used.


• Buford Collette, 55, 919 Independence, Kingsport, sale or delivery of oxycodone; maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used.


• Victor McMiller, 47, 3800 Bond Drive, Kingsport, sale or delivery of dihydrocodeinone (two counts).


• Jessica Hooker, 37, 3805 Bond Drive, sale or delivery of dihydrocodeinone (two counts); maintain a dwelling where drugs are sold, stored or used.


The Vice Squad is continuing to investigate illegal drug activities in Kingsport. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the four wanted suspects, or anyone with information on any other suspected drug dealings in Kingsport, is asked to contact the KPD Vice Office at 229-9434.
