BRISTOL, Tenn. — Police are still looking for a man who robbed Citizens Bank, 844 Volunteer Parkway, on Thursday morning.

Bristol Tennessee Police Department Capt. Charlie Thomas said there are few leads in the case. “The only lead we had didn’t pan out. ... We’re still looking for a suspect,” Thomas said late Friday. “We had a forensic sketch artist come in and do a sketch, but we won’t have that out until Tuesday.”

Police said a white man entered the bank at 10:54 a.m. wearing pantyhose over his head to disguise his face. The man was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 35 to 40 years old, stocky build, with collar-length dark hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, camouflage pants and tennis shoes.

When he entered the bank, the man jumped the counter, took cash from the teller drawers, and fled on foot.

Anyone with any information about the incident can call Bristol police at 989-5600 or 989-5568.
