Lake Pointe Advertising
BLOUNTVILLE — Lake Pointe Advertising and Awards has completed a 4,500-square-foot production and warehouse addition at 1996 Highway 75, one mile north of the Tri-Cities Regional Airport.
The business is one of the area’s largest providers of custom embroidered corporate apparel, personalized gifts and awards and imprinted promotional items. Lake Pointe is a locally owned family business that provides products and services to local and regional companies as well as many national companies.
Lake Pointe began business in May 1999 on Shipley Ferry Road with three full-time employees. The addition of in-house embroidery equipment the following year allowed Lake Pointe to have better control over product quality and offer unique custom embroidery, according to the company.
A new facility was constructed on Highway 75 to house the increased sales and administrative staff as well as provide more production space.
Lake Pointe broke ground in June 2007 for an expansion at its facility, which would more than double the production area and provide warehouse space for fulfillment programs. New services being offered this year include a custom gifts and awards line.
Lake Pointe now employs 16 full-time employees in a 7,500-square-foot facility. The company will host an open house May 1 to give area business people and residents an opportunity to view its range of products.
“We look forward to having the Tri-Cities business leaders tour our expanded facility and hope that everyone will mark their calendar for May 1 to join us as we celebrate the dedication of our new building,” said Lake Pointe owner Larry Burris.
